IBM Data and AI Ideas Portal for Clients

Shape the future of IBM!

We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

If you have not registered on this portal please register at http://ibm.biz/IBM-Data-and-AI-Portal-Register . To complete registration you will need to open the email you will receive from Aha to confirm your identity.

Post ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea

Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests

The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

More Properties/Editing options for Rave 2 Visualizations

We would like more properties/editing options implemented into the new Rave 2 Visualizations (custom palettes specifically). Also would like to have the ability to add conditional formatting or a conditional palette to a visualization.

I agree with what Doug said.  We're still using the old Charts almost everywhere in our organization due to these drawbacks.

I agree.  The "New Visualizations" and "Legacy Visualizations" are crippled.  They have nowhere near the feature set of "Charts".  I see no reason to use the new stuff.  It just doesn't meet my users' needs.

Using a custom color palette by category data  . Sorting by category data in e.g.: stacked bar chart. Status = "open" is green, and status = "closed" is yellow.

It is necessary to have drill-through options with the new visualizations 11.1.

In the other hand Full interactivity is mandatory to use these new visualizations but it create to much confusion for users coming from the old versions.
