Rest API call equivalent to LogOutput

Currently there is no equivalent method in the Rest API to the TurboIntegrator LogOutput function. As a workaround you can run an unbound TI which in turn does a logoutput. But there shoudl be a method via the Rest API to write a custom message directly to the tm1server.log

This idea is currently not under consideration. The idea can continue to receive votes and the IBM Planning Analytics team may reevaluate the idea at a later date.

Currently, you can run a TI process through ODATA that uses the LogOutput function. It's possible to execute a TI code without saving the TI process to the TM1 database.

Agreed that this would be helpful. Note that the ODATA API can be used to read and write blob files in the TM1 databases data directory.
