SHORT-TERM (1-2 months): Ideally, we are looking for EC2 support for PostgreSQL versions 11 and 12 . To be honest, we do not need the full set of functions. What we require ASAP is the following subset of functions:
HASH Provider with sha-256 - We need a hash provider for hash lookup functions for Address and Name fields masking as we need relevant data. Here we are using sha-256 as we need to get unique seq values for more than 5-6 million member data and it needs to be repeatable and consistent.
Affinity - we are using for format preserving on number data like telephone and fax numbers and here we are not using sha-256 nor the encryption.
NID - for SSN, MEDICARE and HICN
LONG-TERM (starting July/August): We are working with the internal team that is building a new Data Access Layer in an AWS-Managed Cloud. They are looking for de-Identification support in their target-state architecture which includes PostgresSQL Aurora and Presto. We are looking for either:
Optim Test Data Management UDF Functions written for Lamdba that we can use with Aurora and Presto
Other Hybrid Cloud offering(s) that will provide this support this year
