Instrumentation to identify uncommitted catalog/directory resource holders

DB2 for z/OS indicates the ability to support online migration. We have some applications that are less well behaved than others regarding taking frequent commits. It is too difficult to identify the applications that would cause an online migration to fail. Performing a catalog REORG against catalog objects will highlight contention, but it will only show at a snapshot in time, and one application that contention is with.

We would like instrumentation that when activated would write a console message when an application is holding a resource (lock, claim, etc) that is likely to obstruct catalog reorgs or an online migration.
