We are in the process of migrating data from Db2 z/OS to Db2 LUW. In our many programs we convert DECIMAL data into CHAR, e.g. to display it on the reports in a readable format. Unfortunatelly Db2 LUW formats data diffrently than Db2 z/OS. Let us explain this on simple example.
This is test SELECT statement:
SELECT CHAR(DECIMAL(1.92,15,2),',')
FROM SYSIBM.SYSDUMMY1
For Db2 z/OS we use setting BIF_COMPATIBILITY = V9_DECIMAL_VARCHAR
For this statement we get following results (for Db2 LUW we have parameter DEC_TO_CHAR_FMT set to NEW) :
Database Value Data type
Db2 z/OS >> 0000000000001,92<< CHAR(17) not null
Db2 LUW >>1,92 << CHAR(17) not null
The result is completely different. Therefore we tried other value of parameter DEC_TO_CHAR_FMT setting it to V95 :
Database Value Data type
Db2 z/OS >> 0000000000001,92<< CHAR(17) not null
Db2 LUW >>0000000000001,92 << CHAR(17) not null
Now it is almost as on z/OS with one important difference. On z/OS there is space before the number, and on LUW it is after the value. We have many places with DECIMAL change to CHAR and therefore we would like to ask whether you could do enhancement so we could using CHAR function or some other get on Db2 LUW the same result as on Db2 z/OS.

TO_CHAR(1.92, '000000000000000d00') would seem to give the format you need.
