Description of Limitation: IBM has defined a few limitations with role based access which include the following:
A role cannot own database objects.
Permissions and roles granted to groups are not considered when you create the following database objects:
Packages containing static SQL
Views
Materialized query tables (MQT)
Triggers
SQL Routine
Steps to Reproduce the Limitation:
As the instance, connect to the database and create a role and give the privilege DBADM
Assign the third party group to the role
Login to the database as a member of the third party group
Create a sample SQL view and receive permission error
Original Expectation: If a third party group is added to a role, all members of the group should have the permissions to interact with database objects if the role allows it.
Actual Results: Members of the third party group don't have access to database objects.
Justification: Many companies use operating system groups to manage users and then would like to add them to roles. With this limitation, when those groups are added to a role, the users in the group do not have access to database objects.

Please add this Feature to use Active-Directory-Groups for CREATE this database objects. Our Company Future authorization structures says, that we should use AD-Groups instead of AD-Users only. So we had an Problem with the actual processing. (see CASE TS018365781)
Thank you for this idea! Apologies for the recent changes in status. There were some processes that took affect that have now been resolved. This item is in future consideration and will be reviewed as we plan future releases.
The restrictions are documented here: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/db2/11.1?topic=security-roles
"Permissions and roles granted to groups are not considered when..."
With LDAP servers being the primary source of user autenication and group assignement, this point of integration is needed to simplifiy operations and better manage security.
