Customer is using IIDR(CDC) and moving to AWS cloud. If CDC support Oracle RDS and MSSQL RDS, then they will consider to continue with CDC, else they will switch to Goldengate

IIDR support for Microsoft SQLServer RDS on Amazon Web Services

Currently IIDR does not support Microsoft SQL Server on AWS (Amazon Webservices) when choosing for the RDS (managed database). This due to the bulkadmin role that does not exist within RDS.
