Alert notify email From address setting different from general email settings

There are two places to set From Email Address / From Name in RTM settings One in Mail/DNS tab, one in Alerting/Thold tab. Why need to set in two separate places? Suggest use the one in Mail/DNS tab for all emails sent by RTM.
