I suggest a repack-like tool which consolidates free space in an entire chunk or dbspace in order to get few, big enough, free spaces to use efficiently. Being able to do so online and with little blocking is desirable

informix can restrict ip/host to connect with DB .

currently we have not option in Informix DB to restrict ip or any host to connect with DB or instance, i think ibm need to add this facility in new version.
