Get and read file from http(s) server from datastage

We have stage to retrieve and read file from ftp servers, so we should have the same functionality from http(s) servers.

HA is not supported for the namenode failover using File Connector

Unfortunately, HA is not supported for the namenode failover. This is the limitation of the WebHDFS and the connector does not have a to work around that.

osh.exe and orchadmin.exe are overwritten by installer

Customer is using GTK , while patching one of the head node their osh.exe and orchadmin.exe got replaced . so they have to replace these files everytime there is fixpack or rollup installed. This is known limitation http://www-01.ibm.com/support/d...

File Connector Centrify Certified

DataStage v11.3 failed to connect to Hadoop Secure (Kerberos)Cluster. We are using Centrify for Kerberos authentication. IBM Engineering confirmed that Centrify is not supported with the File Connector. Centrify has not been tested or certified.
