We would like that value of &PART becomes 00000 for partitioned by growth tablespaces on the template's DSN. The response on PMR 27187,999,838 is that this needs to be a RFE.
As you can see in PMR 27187,999,838, we have processes that does a full image copy in a DB2, then he does an unload of this files to another DB2 and does a load with the file generated by this unload.
We have problems with the templates when the tablespace is universal partitioned by growth, because the copy produces &PART = 00000 and HPUnload tries to read and generates &PART = 00001 and load tries to read &PART = 00000.
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||This feature will benefit to all users using IBM utilities and HPU together.|
How should it work?
In the User's guide we can read this:
Perhaps the best way to solve this problem would be to add a new parameter.
|Priority Justification||We are migrating non partitioned tablespaces to PBG tablespaces and the processes we have to send data between environments are failing.|
