As a user of watson studio local I want to use the new DB2 drivers beacase of the new functions this driver supports.
like creating external tables to read and write large datasets.
we are ussed to read and write large datasets with external tables and Netezza. and DB2 supports this function. but the shipped drivers dont.
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||all ussers of watson studio local|
How should it work?
There is already a option to add custom drivers to Watson studio Local.
You can extend this option or add a new script to also replace the shipped DB2 drivers.
|Priority Justification||As a user of watson studio local you want to use every function to read an write to a database. At this point are the shipped drivers not supporting the new en enhanced functions of DB2.|
