Need capability to backup and restore collections across environments

#SalesForce, #ServiceNow, #Watson Teacher Advisor : In WDS, there are No backup/restore tooling for collections. This is affecting migration of collections across environments such as from dev to staging/testing and then to production. This is affecting external partners like SalesForce as well as internal customers like Watson for Education to come up with their backup mechanisms in place which is not scalable across our customers as well as not maintainable as WDS comes out with new features etc.

    From email with Laksh - this also assumes all training, models, etc... are backed up and restored as well to support a "promotion" use case across dev/qa/prod

Ability to export/import or migrate the data from a collection to another.

We have a Discovery corpus with over 50K documents several of which have large documents (PDF's, Word Docs etc). It take over 9 hours to recreate the full Discovery collection from scratch. It would really help if there was a way to export a col...
