Operators - Within IA Data Quality rule development, Currently we can only join tables with = operator on Keys under Joins Tab. There is no way we can join tables using >= or <= operators . For example we would like to join tables where Table1.date >= Table2.date, In this scenario, we we have to create SQVT which would be not efficient on time perspective and tool shouldn't be lacking this functionality.
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||This could help developers save their time by working on real issues. Current Workaround: Right Now, We are supposed to create SQVT's, prior building DQ rules on top of them. I would say, this is general functionality a DQ tool should possess|
How should it work?
Proposed solution would be adding >=,<= operators to existing = operator.
|Priority Justification||High because this is a mandatory functionality with in DQ tool|
