New chart to plot actual usage and total available capacity aggregated by project or queue or user against time.

Actual versus Capacity

Client has requested a new chart. This chart would plot actual usage and total available capacity aggregated by project or queue or user against time.

The following measures would be available:

• total job run time
• total job cpu time
• total job slots used

One proposal would be to use a stacked bar chart.  The segment within each bar would display the following:

• job runtime used by each project or queue or user for the specified time period or
• job cpu time used by each project or queue or user for the specified time period or
• job slots used by each project or queue or user for the specified time period

granularity - weeks/days/hours

Each bar would also contain a segment displaying the unused job runtime/job cpu time/job slots.

Therefore the bar would represent the total available runtime or cpu time or job slots for the queue or project or user.

Alternative might be to display bar chart (or line) displaying usage for queue/user/project for selected measure and a line displaying available runtime/slots/cpu time etc.

We are unlikely to add this capability in the native Explorer UI. For more complex visualisations we would strongly recommend the use of Kibana or Grafana.
