Provide the ability to support Aliases for the creation of OneDrive Volumes

Who would benefit from this IDEA? Customers would have better control and access to specific source content
How should it work?

With the existing OneDrive case, the following is the observation for their use case…

To harvest the same datasource from two different volumes with two different set of users

To create more than one OneDrive volume, we have to have different initial directory; In Ultragaz’s case, we need to have same Initial Directory however, only the user, who authenticates, is going to be different

As per our current UI, we could not create two different volumes for the above use case, as we have Server field is disabled from editing…

However, we tried to create two different datasources using different Initial Directory like one with / and another one leaving the field blank…

However, when we harvest, with / does not return any objects and errors found in the log…

There are two options right now …

  1. Fix the / issue and handle both with and without / in the same way…

or

2. Make the Server field editable, hence we can use server aliases to create two different datasources with the same scope

Idea Priority Urgent
Priority Justification Customer is limited in their ability to access content

    Hi,

I don't want to create two volumes. I need to create a volume that is able to access the ULTRA Group OneDrive and harvest only the ULTRAGAZ domain.
