We had an urgent need for this feature, so we ended up purchasing ReportWORQ from Quebit to do it.

We also have nearly 100 customers that cannot move to Planning Analytics, unless there is a solution to output as PDF (and or excel) with page breaks by a dimension of cost/charge centers. (The PDF report output is a contractual obligation we have with the customer.)

Highly recommend QueBIT's FREE Print Reports tool as a replacement for Perspective's Print Reports functionality. ReportWORQ from QueBIT has extensive functionality for Email, SharePoint and Slack distribution. https://quebit.com/printreports
This functionality in Planning Analytics for Excel is key to moving clients to the new interface without it; they will not move.
I would recommend starting with first replacing the functionality that existed in Perspectives, then moving forward with everything that this person laid out.
