IBM Data and AI Ideas Portal for Customers

This portal is to open public enhancement requests against products and services offered by the IBM Data & AI organization. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

Shape the future of IBM!

Automatically resolve CellPutN to Leaves hierarchy

With hierarchies all leaf elements do not need to be members of the same named hierarchy but all leaf elements must be members of the Leaves hierarchy for any dimension with multiple hierarchies. The TurboIntegrator CellPutN function can write only to LEAF intersections.

The CellPutN function like all other CellGet and CellPut functions now supports hierarchy references e.g.
CellPutN( cubeName, vHier:vEle, ...)
Where a leaf element doesn't exist in the same named hierarchy it is necessary to specify a hierarchy name otherwise the function will error and return "element X does not exist in dimension Y". Since by definition all numeric data is stored at leaf intersections and the same value is shared in all hierarchies where the leaf exists iut should not ne necessary to supply the hierarchy name and as long as the elsment exists in the leaves hierarchy then the function shoudl resolve this and there should be no error.

Seems pretty obvious. Set to future consideration.
