PAx: Display attributes in rows in Explorations and Quick Reports

Related to PMR 86027,660,706

We need to display members attributes in rows or columns. Attributes generally give to the end user additional information during the input period.

We tried various ways, like adding DBRA functions to the Quick Report or using an hidden sheet containing a QR based on the }ElementAttributes_ cube with VBA functions copying value in the initial QR, but none of them satisfies us. The first one leads to poor performance and the second one to lots of VBA implying poor scalability and poor performances as well. So a built-in function is needed.

The attributes display has been added in PAW in April 17 and is also available in the Viewer in PAX. This is needed also in PAx / Excel mode.

Hi Stuart. The Dynamic Quick Report has been promised since years. Are there any developments? And please consider the display of attributes in the exploration. This is really important to us and already implemented in web views.

This idea is not under consideration. The Planning Analytics for Excel roadmap is weighted towards a new report type (Dynamic Quick Report) that will be used to replace quick reports. We are limiting enhancements to the current Quick Report type.
