Ability to hide individual PAW tabs

We regularly build PAW tabs that are accessed through Action Buttons for purposes of a special form entry, editing assumptions, administrative model control, etc. However, when a user accesses the PAW book we don't necessarily want these tabs shown as it creates a very long list of tabs that you would not ordinarily navigate to. Ideally we could select whether or not to show the tab and if it was necessary for a user to access it we could have a button that would take you to it without it being show in the tab bar.

The work around today would be to have the button navigate to a completely different book and have a button in that book that would bring you back. It would be more efficient to keep the same model/processes within a single book.

The status of this idea has been updated to not under consideration. While this idea does have merit, the IBM Planning Analytics team is not planning on implementing hidden tabs within the next 18 months.
