PAW: More flexibility in assigning colors

Currently the sequence of colors in the palette determines the selected color per chart element. It would be great, if a user could flexibly assign colors from the palette to individual elements. The default could be the sequence of the palette and optional a user can assign any color from the palette or could creat his own color using the wheel or RGB/Hex code.

Christian, thanks for the additional detail. I think I understand what you are asking for now. You want to be able to pick which color from the palette is used in each line, bar, or chart in a column.

You are writing "Functionality already exists". I think, this is not correct. Currently colors get automatically assigned following the sequence in the pallette. But aren't associated with a specific element. Or is there something, I'm not ware of?
