It is not currently possible to add users to the TM1 DB without resorting to writing TI Scripts when managing the TM1 DB through the PAW front end.
Whilst the TI process itself is fairly straightforward, many TM1 administrators are non technical and there is an expectation that adding clients should be possible through a GUI. This is possible for all other aspects of security and so this appears to be a glaring omission
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||Administrators of TM1 systems|
How should it work?
Simple front end screen for adding a user required.
|Priority Justification||It is an obvious hole in the product and it impacts the credibility of the product when you have to explain during training that no facility to add users has been provided.|
