We currently use Planning Analytics/TM1WEB for a web application where the user community enters their yearly budgets. This entails entering large quantities of data into websheets and must be accurate. Users have asked if we can highlight the rows and columns of the active cell on order to make it easier for them to pinpoint their location when entering.
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||Our user community of approximately 400 users|
How should it work?
We tried enabling this function in excel and uploading it to TM1WEB but the functionality does not come over. I opened a case with IBM (TS004420675) and was told the following:
"VBA code unfortunately doesn't carry over into TM1Web when you do an import from Excel. To achieve the same in TM1web, this functionality would need to be integrated into and a feature of TM1Web. However, there really isn't anything in TM1web that can help you achieve this behavior."
It was suggested that I submit an enhancement request for this functionality.
