We currently have a customer whom have deployed touchscreen laptops to users. When using PAX sheets in PAW, and using the spreading functionality, we can see the value to be spread is duplicated in the target cells. This only happens with the touchscreen laptops and with PAX sheets in PAW. Touch screen functionality cannot be deactivated as it is deemed critical functionality for end users, outside of PA. IBM support have advised that this issues is due to the incompatibility of touchscreen laptops and PAW.
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||All PA users with a touchscreen laptop.|
How should it work?
Enable touchscreen support for PAW outside of Apple® iPad® with Safari. Extend support other brands/models.
Current workaround is only temporary, however it is to disable touchscreen on user laptops, which is not a feasible solution.
|Priority Justification||Touch screen functionality is essential to end users as it is required to perform tasks within their role outside of PA.|
