Need TI functions to determine the number of hierarchies in a dimension and hierarchy name by index.

Currently, there are not TI functions to determine the number of hierarchies in a dimension and/or given an index the name of the hierarchy.

What you're suggesting would add value. However, it's probably not worth the effort at this specific point in time. Longer term, we want to eventually replace TI scripts with something a bit more standard and more widely accepted . Imagine that you could write your Ti processes in Python.

Sorry. Meant to say. Are you suggesting that it would add not value or is not worth the effort?

That is exactly what we're doing today. It works, it just requires several lines of code to be able to parse }Dimensions correctly. Gets complicated when it needs to be nested with other functionality. Seems like something that should be a function call and quite. Are you suggesting that it would add value or is not worth the effort?

The }Dimensions dimension can be used in TI code to iterate over the list of hierarchies in the dimension. Look for members starting with the dimension name and the colon character (e.g plan_department:Leaves).
