Create a function to allow a TI to be executed with user's security rights instead of the default Admin rights.

Create a function to force a TI to take security into account called in the prolog section

The function could be similar to the one that allows TIs to overwrite locks (CubeLockOverwrite), which is called out once in the prolog section and modifies behavior of the whole TI process.

TISecurityOverwrite(i [, ClientName]);

i

A Boolean value to turn on/off Security Overwrite

ClientName

ClientName that the TI will impersonate. This is optional, if ClientName is blank then the TI will impersonate the User who is executing the TI.

    Interesting idea, but what is the use case? What problem are you trying to solve? If you use picklists to drive parameter selection then these are already subject to the users security and so the TI is restricted on what i can act on.
