Planning Analytics Workspace - Data server name display than IP in Admin page (databases)

  1. No. of instances - 60 (prod)

  2. Separate admin team to manage instances

  3. Currently instances are listed under IP address of the data server

  4. Due to number of instances, we have more data servers which is difficult to find server names from IP in PAW.

  5. This is also the only tool (PAW databases tab) to monitor status of each instance after deprecation of Ops console (2.0.9. IF 3)

  6. With more instances, we need to have server names displayed in admin page than IP address.

This idea is no longer under consideration. The Planning Analytics team is focused on support for deployment of TM1 databases on Red Hat OpenShift. This will negate the requirement for the TM1 Admin Server and allow for TM1 databases to be represented on a cluster without referencing an IP or hostname.
