Show Process Errors to Non-Admin Users

Logged in as a non-admin user, I run a process which produces minor errors such as:

  • element not found in dimension
  • ItemReject('Message')
  • Missing parameter
  • ODBC connection error

but the system doesn't show the errors in the popup window.

Only as an admin user, I am able to see the errors clicking in the down arrow to expand the error list.

Many thanks Stuart for taking into account this ticket.

I would like to know how this custom message would be set in the action button ? Will we have the same kind of configuration as process option in PAX (cf. attached file Process Options.jpeg) ?

    • Show Failure Message : the message content can be dynamically retrieved from a cube ?

    Many thanks for your answer..

Promoted. However, the message returned to the non-admin user will be a custom message set in the action button configuration in PAW. We will not return a message from the TI process in TM1.
