At the moment Users and Roles need to be set by the Administrator or needs to be uploaded by an Administrator into the PAW System via the Administration Console. Currently Human Interaction is needed to do these Steps. In an Enterprise System with many Users this turns to be a bigger pain point for the customers since they usually automate all Security through the underlying Database TM1. Currently there is no workaround for this topic. A Solution could be to upload this CSV User File via a PowerShell Skript directly on the Server or to Set this Security by using REST Calls. Benefit would be the full automation of User Security via Domains.
Why is it useful?
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||All Administrators for the systems would benefit.|
How should it work?
1. CSV File will be generated by a separated System like PowerShell and Domain Group Calls to get the corresponding users.
This CSV File will then be uploaded using PowerShell on the PAW Server
2. A Microservice send Security Settings through REST Api Calls to PAW
|Priority Justification||Its ranked as High because huge amount of System Administrator would benefit|
|Customer Name||Olapline GmbH, Zwilling, Scholz Recycling, Leadec Industrial Services, Mazars|
