Edit and Save Flat views in PAW

It is not possible to edit and save a flat view once created.

Flat views are used in many applications to drive the export of both text data and as a datasource for TI Processes.

End-users need to be able to edit and save flat views and export them in PAW and they can not currently do so.

Since this is possible in the legacy world, there are many day to day business processes that exist using this functionality. There are also many TIs out in the real world that have a Flat View as a datasource not being able to edit these is also problematic.

Removal of this functionality will cause these business processes to fail.

    YES!! Fully agree, it is time consuming to have to go into the PAW view in order to change a subset or selected element in a dimension when we used to be able to do this in the 'export as test' function especially with cubes that have many dimensions that don't fit into the window. Why not add this function into the PAW 'Export as Text' function, we can change a set or subset of the dimensions on that second page and be able to SAVE the changes. Done! No need to launch a view to do this and there is the functionality right in that PAW 'Export as Text' function to be able to skip zeros, consolidations etc. It would make the flat view function especially for hundreds of TI's SO MUCH EASIER to work with. Time saver and ease of use for developers.
