Entering free MDX statement in PAW

MDX has many nice features to query data from a TM1 cube. At the moment it is not possible to enter free MDX statement in PAW.

It is only possible to open a pre defined view from TM1 server or to create a new view via the view desingner widget (exploration) in PAW.

There should be a similar windows for entering MDX like in PAX exploration.

Isn't this already 88% available by entering your MDX query into a TI process and building the view? Not the perfect solution but the number of users who have the technical knowledge to handcraft MDX cube queries and are not comfortable with the tiny amount of additional work required to do it in a TI process are surely tiny?
