Ability to set Frequency of Alerts sent for Database and Agent Critical Thresholds

Currently in the Administration area of Planning Analytics there the ability to set warning and critical thresholds and an on/off button for the alert. However an email is only sent ONCE. So as an example if the Disk Usage on your Server is currently at a critical threshold only one email will be sent when it exceeds the threshold. If the disk usage continues to increase then no additional email alerts are sent.

It would be beneficial to have the ability to set a frequency on each alert. For example set email alerts for:

- Disk Usage to daily

- CPU usage to hourly

- Memory usage to daily

The same alert frequency options should also be made available for the Databases section.

Not only does this provide more flexibility and urgency around each scenario, but reduces the likeihood that emails are not missed for business critical systems.

This idea is not under consideration. The idea can continue to accumulate votes and comments and the Planning Analytics product team may reconsider the idea as additional feedback is received. There is already an established pattern to avoid multiple notifications for a single event. The PAA thresholds are for alerting only and is not expected to be used as a resource reporting tool.
