PAW: book shortcut

Due to security/permissions reasons we sometimes need to place one book to multiple folders in Reports & Analysis. However, editing of each copy separately is not sustainable.

So, we propose to implement shortcuts for books. Origin book would be in one folder, other folders would contain only shortcuts to it. Also, shortcuts could be added to the application section as assets.

Thank you, best regards

This idea is not under consideration. The plans and apps feature can already be used to meet this need. A plan or application can reference books from different folders and multiple plans and apps can use the same book. Plans and apps will help with setting security on books that are stored in different locations.
