Add Percent Complete to TI or Spreads

You start a process in PAW by pushing a button and have to wait for the process to finish before making some additional data changes. Instance two: you make a high level data spread, and need to respond to someone when the data is ready. In both of these cases you do not know how long to wait. This is not an issue for small changes or quick running processes, but we recently had a user copy data and between the size of the cube, the spreading being done, and the cube logging, it took 40 minutes to complete. Knowing a status would make it easier to switch to a different task or report on status.
The suggested change is when a process or spread takes longer than a given threshold, display a status message with the current percent complete. Even better would also to add the time remaining. Probably 10 users on a daily basis who run long processes. The data spreads are harder to predict on frequency or usage.

I've updated the status of this idea to 'Not under consideration'. The TI processes in TM1 and spread action in TM1 have no way to determine percent complete during execution.
