Automatically add users to PAW

Hi Team,

On Planning Analytics we have to first add the users to Planning Analytics Workspace and then add the users to TM1 instance.

Instead of adding the users at both the place, if we add the user in the TM1 instance can the user be automatically added to the Planning Analytics workspace environment??

This is how mode 1-3 security currently works with Planning Analytics Workspace.  Once a user is added to the TM1 database being used for authentication into Workspace the user may be able to log into Workspace.

I suspect this request is specific to CAM authentication mode.  The current intent is to build a mechanism that allows groups and users to be imported from Cognos Analytics or the LDAP through Cognos Analytics into Planning Analytics Workspace and use Workspace to control which users and groups will exist in each TM1 model.  This would allow Planning Analytics Workspace  to be able to manage users and groups for the complete Planning Analytics environment (both Workspace and TM1 Servers).

I suggest looking at the ENABLE_USER_IMPORT setting in Workspace.  Please see:
