Add new Currencies in OpenPages

At Intesa SanPaolo we have a requirement to use some currencies that are not available in the OpenPages list. IBM support has confirmed that this needs to come as an enhancement request. Here they are: BGL, DEM, ECS, GRD, ITL, RUR, TRL, XEU; complete description in the attached .csv file.

It would useful to understand the need for these currencies. These have not been valid currencies under ISO since 2005 ( at the latest).

    • BGL = Bulgarian Lev - this has an ISO code in OP of BGN and was changed from BGL in 1999

    • DEM = Deutsche Mark - Not been issued since 1 Jan 2002 - is this necessary?

    • GRD -= Greek Drachma - not been issued or accepted since 2002

    • ECS - Ecuadorian Sucre - Not been used since 2000

    • ITL - Italian Lira - Not been used since 2002

    • TRL - Not been used since 2005

    • RUR is the old designation for Russian Ruble. This was changed to RUB in 1998

    • XEU - old designation for EUR - this was changed in 2001
