Ability to change some system fields

When the client imports historical records coming from an external system they do not want to loose accountability and timing, so they need to override the following field values, either by FastMap (or by API):

System Fields.Created By ; System Fields.Creation Date ; System Fields.Last Modified By; System Fields.Last Modification Date.

This will allow them to keep the creation date of the the source system, the name of the user who created the record in the source system ....

Thank you again for submitting this RFE!

After reviewing your request, we have determined that this goes against the design of the System Fields in question and the corresponding requirement for those fields to be read only and immutable (for audit trail / change history purposes).

Your business requirement can be satisfied by leveraging a set of new fields that you can create to house this additional data.

This above recommendation has been undertaken by some of our Clients successfully.
