We are moving all our Oracle Databases to ORacle Exadata Database Servers. After migrating, when we try to replicate data from Exadata to Netezza using IBM CDC (IIDR), IIDR doesn't like Exadata. When talking to IBM support, we figured that IIDR is not compatible with Exadata. Somehow we need IIDR compatibility with Exadata because otherwise there is no way we can replicate database to Netezza.
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||As customers who are paying license fees should be able to integrate database products across wide databases.|
How should it work?
IIDR should be able to replicate data from ORacle Exadata Databases
|Priority Justification||If we don't have a solution in place by 09/30 we wont be able to run reports with cognos/Netezza.|
