In some IIS installations, the IIS Microservices Launchpad shows applications that are not being used.
For example, the Standardization Rules Designer is shown in installations without QualityStage. Governance Dashboard is shown in installations without Cognos. And DataStage Flow Designer is shown in installations which only use the DS Engine to import metadata (and not to create jobs)
There should be an option to remove the applications that the customer will not use or doesn't want to use.
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||Customers working with the IIS Microservices Launchpad and don't use all the capabilities|
How should it work?
There could be a command line option to remove and re-add applications from the IIS Microservices Launchpad.
|Priority Justification||The end user is very disatisfied with the Launchpad, as it creates confusion on which tools they can use or not|
