Project specific GIT repository in GIT Setup server TAB of Dataflow Designer tool

Summary of Observation:

We do have different projects in our datastage application. Each project is having its own GIT repository in Bit bucket & Facing 2 different functionalities missing in DFD tool.

Scenario -1:

As per our GIT repository setup, An admin privileged user have access to all Project specific GIT repository & All project access.

When an admin privileged user is trying to access different projects to define its specific GIT repository, GIT repository path is not getting reflected the project specific one & Its not providing any drop down to view the available GIT repositories to select its related one.

For an example, CEDP_DQAR & CEDPHUB are 2 different projects. The CEDPHUB's GIT repository path is: https://horizon.bankofamerica.com/scm/scm/gwimdschub/chub_ds_build.git, Whenever try to select the CEDP_DQAR Project also, its tagged to chub_ds_build.git repository in GIT Tab instead of the actual repository (https://horizon.bankofamerica.com/scm/scm/gwimdsdqar/dqar_ds_build.git). Also, there is no drop down to view all available GIT repositories as similar to view all projects in datastage.

Scenario -2:

As per our GIT repository setup, An Application user is having privilege to access to specific datastage Project & its related GIT repository. When the user is trying to select that Projects, The GIT repository is pointing to different project related path.

For an example, CEDP_DQAR & CEDPHUB are 2 different projects. The app user is having access to CEDP_DQAR Project & its related GIT repository. When user is trying to view the GIT tab & select the CEDP_DQAR project, its still referring to the CEDPHUB related GIT repository.

This is not currently under consideration. We recommend leveraging MettleCI component, now provided by IBM to accomplish sophisticated GIT integration and CI/CD flows.
