DataStage (11.7.1) Google Cloud Storage (GCS) connector failed to write data into GCS, not supporting Customer Managed Encryption Key (CMEK).
We in HSBC use CMEK in all components in GCP. If this is enabled, we can use GCS with DataStage directly. Currently we have to use workaround solutions.
This issue has been raised in PMR TS003745425.
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||Anyone that uses DataStage to write data to GCP Cloud Storage with CMEK|
How should it work?
When DataStage writing data to CMEK encrypted GCS, it should not have the following error.
|Priority Justification||If DataStage supports this feature, our project will benefit from it immediately.|
