In current world, once you log into operations console it won't timeout until 12 hours by default. If you set LTPA timeout to your preferences, it will ask for the credentials after the timeout once & then, it never asks for credentials again.
This is an audit issue as we can't configure the console as per our audit requirements (authenticate every 30 mins).
We don't have any workaround for this issue. Hence, requesting you to provide a fix in the next release. We have more than 100+ users using the console on day-to-day basis & this impacts every one of them.
Why is it useful?
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||DataStage client users|
How should it work?
Need to generate new LTPA token as per the timeout parameter set in the configuration file; and it needs to take the credentials and authenticate the user. This will ensure the data confidentiality.
|Priority Justification||This is an audit issue and need to addressed ASAP|
