When filter is applied to browse the asset and we will get the filtered results of the asset.
Then if we click on one of the assets from the filtered results in the same browser tab to view the asset and Then if we click back button on that same browser tab, you will go back to the Browse assets page and the Filter(s) we set is lost/reset to see filtered results, we must apply the filters again
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||As a customer we want that filter|
How should it work?
when you go back in the same browser tab, it will go back to the Browse Asset page that still contains the filtered results that user had previously set (first screen shot)? That way, when you go back in the same browser tab, the filter criteria set previously is retained and the criteria does not need to be reapplied all over again. In this case I have used the Application Catalog as an example for an asset, but this applies to all assets. This current behavior is especially problematic when browsing assets with higher volume like in the Database Family (Tables, Columns).
|Priority Justification||It is impacting on day to day activities from business end.|
