Information Security directive within UPS to Azure Authentication to ensure valid users. UPS has been using EAM which is no longer supported and UPS is moving to Azure. Currently users are required to sign on to a DataStage environment and provide valid user id and password, be authenticated and then proceed to the IBM login page and login again using the application ID and password. UPS required all applications to be authenticated before logging in with the application ID and password. Currently Azure Authentication intercept does not work when trying to access the DataStage Operations Console directly.
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||Any team leveraging Azure authentication.|
How should it work?
Our expectation would to be intercept the protected URL's as we did with EAM and allow for the same functionality with Azure. Once authenticated, proceed to the secondary login page.
|Priority Justification||Need to have a working solution for Azure and then need to have it configured across 30+ environments prior to PEAK 2020.|
