Google BQ connector to run SQL with project id

Currently, the BQ connector doesn't allow user to select data from other projects of the user's default project. And there is no where to choose project id. We are using multiple projects on GCP, and some projects own data, but some projects only view data. So, we need to use BQ connector to export/select data from other projects, not just its default project.

There are lots of DataStage potential projects are starting from our company, Macy's. And we are all stuck on how to select data from different projects. Service users are dedicated only on one project, but it should be able to view data from many other projects. BQ connector should give developer the option to choose which project to connect, but now it doesn't.

Please resolve the issue asap, or we cannot continue on the development. Developers will be indicated to choose different tool. That is not a preferrence for us, but if this feature cannot be added in the near future, we may have no choice.

Thanks,

    Hi,

I opened the link of the email, and found that it doesn't show a fix to project id issue, instead, it added a feature to support user supplied SQL.

Please let us know whether we still don't support project id in the SQl.

Thanks very much and have a great day.
