Need the ability to increase the number of logical log buffers from 3 to handle peak transaction loads

Currently there are three logical log buffers. When transaction load increases sometimes all three logical log buffers are being flushed, especially in an unbuffered logged database environment. In such an environment increasing the size of the logical logs often does not alleviate the problem. The ability to specify that the server use 4 or more log buffers will improve application performance.

Very cool Fernando! So, are these SEC_DR_BUFS used for all logical log processing or only during HDR/RSS synchronization?

Already implemented in 14.10.FC1. The SEC_DR_BUFS parameter allows the DBA to define the number of replication buffers.
