determine length of data stored in smartblob

Just because data is stored as a smartblob not blob, we have to go to a work around solution to get "LENGTH" of blob stored.

By using length(smartblob) the amount of bytes stored in the smartblob should be returned.


The LENGTH function works if the blob is stored in a byte (dumb blob), but a blob (smartblob) does not return the size .
