After setting up access to CP4D for LDAP accounts, there was a problem of adding stewards to business term cards and providing users with access to catalogs.
In the menu for adding stewards, there are only users who have logged into CP4D at least once and local users.
How to add users who are in the groups AD that are associated with the role in the LDAP configure menu?
Is it possible to somehow add user accounts and associate them with domain accounts. For example, through REST API?
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||Administrators|
How should it work?
Add the button for adding users from Active Directory groups in the "Manage users" interface (Active Directory groups are added in the Authorized LDAP groups "Configure LDAP" section).
Another option is a REST API request for adding users. The mechanism is the same as when a user is authorized with a domain account.
|Priority Justification||The customer wants to implement CP4D as soon as possible. Without this feature, you can't add stewards to business Glossary cards and finish transferring data from IGC|
