When creating a connection and selecting the cloudera impala connector, the form used to configure the connection does not allow for JDBC parameters to be added at the end of the jdbc connection string,
This is needed due to the config of our Cloudera cluster using custom authentication settings.
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||Data Engineers, Data Scientists and and anyone else who is creating or managing data source connections|
How should it work?
When configuring the Impala connection, there should be an additional text field that would allow me to create or apply custom JDBC parameters.
|Priority Justification||Low because there is a workaround to this involving using the generic JDBC connector instead. It is a nice to have rather than a need.|
