How to deal host admin inactivity

  • The container SSH access to be LOCKED for system admins who are not logged into the host for 30 days

  • The container SSH access to be REMOVED for system admins who are not logged into the host for 90 days

  • The control plane SSH access to be LOCKED for system admins who are not logged into the host for 30 days

    Thanks, Anson for your comment. I explained clearly about this requirement in Glenn's meeting and in the case and to a developer. It looks like it didn't pass on to you.

    If the user is inactive at AD, meaning if the user is not logging into his/her computer or on leave of absense, then the AD will lock his/her id entirely where your comment makes sense.

    Here is our requirement: If the user does not log in to Netezza/Cloud Pak, then access must be locked/dropped from that system leaving other system's access.

    The customer seems to be asking for, the ability for a user to be disabled automatically after a certain # of days and deleted after a certain # of days. I believe they should manage this thru their LDAP where they manage the user's existence and last login.
